CENTRAL TAXIS AND CITY CABS WIN BID TO SERVICE EDINBURGH AIRPORT

Central Taxis and City Cabs have been successful in their joint bid to service Edinburgh Airport. As from January 2008, everyone arriving at Edinburgh Airport will be safe in the knowledge that two of Edinburgh’s most reputable taxi companies will be there to transport them to their onward destinations.

About our drivers

Before driving for Central Taxis, all drivers must have a taxi licence issued by City of Edinburgh Council.

To get this they must have passed "The Knowledge" test which means they know the streets of Edinburgh and aren't relying on sat nav to get you there. In addition to this, all new drivers must have Enhanced Disclosure Scotland with Childcare.
